MEET THE ARTIST
A brief introduction to my journey as an illustrator, from my early inspiration to my published book. I started drawing almost as soon as I learned to walk. I found inspiration in everything around me. Over time, I realized I needed to refine what came naturally to me. That’s why, after finishing high school, I studied animation and drawing, focusing on character design. Later, I explored illustration, improved my backgrounds, and delved into color theory. Since I believe illustration is a way of storytelling, all of this shaped an idea that had been following me for years. That idea became my first book: El mago Ricky comparte su magia (The Magician Ricky Shares His Magic, Dunken, 2024). It’s meant to be the first in a series that is already beginning to take shape.
